This workshop provides Primary and Secondary Teachers with a deeper understanding of 3D printing and modelling and how best to embed it authentically into their teaching practice.

This workshop introduces teachers to 3D Printing and Modelling applications and how teachers can implement them into their classrooms. The workshop is delivered through four one-hour online sessions with the choice of specialising in Tinkercad (recommended for primary or secondary) or Fusion 360 (recommended for secondary only). Teachers gain a deeper understanding of real-world applications of 3D printing and modelling and how these can be incorporated into the teaching of science, mathematics and STEM/STEAM in Primary and Secondary classrooms. No prior 3D modelling/printing experience is required.
